Opportunity Atlas
Research companies in a local industry, with reasons, dates and next steps.
Working Runs in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. Try it below on sample data.
The problem
Industry research for work or partnerships ends up in a spreadsheet nobody trusts: why is this company here, and when was it checked?
What I built
A board that scores each company with reasons, flags research that has gone stale, and tracks the next step for each one.
- Scores with reasons
- Flags research older than 90 days
- A next step for every company
Features and limits
Built and tested
- Relevance score per company from your criteria (sector, size, signals such as hiring for video), with the reasons listed.
- Research older than 90 days is flagged: check it before any outreach.
- Board columns: to research, researched, outreach plan, parked; move cards as you go.
- Filter by name, sector, city or signal; export as CSV.
Limits
- Invented companies in the demo. It stores no personal contact details, only a generic contact route.
- Scores reflect your criteria, not the companies; nothing is checked live.
Planned
Sources, update dates and confidence indicators.
How to use
- Read each card's reasons and research date.
- Move cards between columns.
- Filter, then export the board.
How it works
- Score = weighted criteria, capped at 100, with a reason per point source.
- Staleness from the research date; the board sorts each column by score.
